Join the AAEGT to become part of a community of members: parents, teachers, researchers and others, as we strive to raise the profile of the needs of gifted children in Australia. Gifted children and their families come from every nationality and every walk of life.
The AAEGT vision is for all gifted students across the nation to be recognised and have their learning and social emotional development needs met through appropriate educational provision.

We welcome a diversity of members, including those who don’t want to take an active part in our organisation. Your membership helps to increase the volume of our national ‘voice’ and means that you become part of a movement for change and advocacy.
Becoming a member ensures you have exclusive access to resources, product and event discounts, regular newsletters and can access the journal at a discounted rate.
In most states and the ACT you may join the AAEGT when you become a member of a state/territory organisation. In Queensland and the Northern Territory you may join the AAEGT directly. Click the relevant link below to proceed.

AAEGT Affiliated state & territory organisations are required to pay their affiliation fee by the end of March each year.
You will receive an email from the AAEGT in March asking you to provide your list of members who have renewed their membership or joined your organisation in the past 6 months, current members and pay the affiliation fee.
Members of affiliated organisations have the option of taking up annual membership with the AAEGT with or without a journal subscription.
