The AAEGT Board invites nominations for the 2022 AAEGT Award for Eminence in Gifted Education. The person nominated will have made a significant contribution to Gifted Education in Australia though their professional and voluntary efforts.
A Nominator and Seconder will be asked to provide evidence against two main criteria:
1. Significant contribution to Australian gifted education as a researcher and/or educator.
AND
2. Significant contribution to Australian gifted education in a volunteer capacity.
Responsibilities of the Nominator:
1. To accurately complete and submit
this form by the due date
2. Please email info@aaegt.net.au with the following:
i. A CV. Maximum length is 3 typed pages, size 12 font.
ii. Up to 3 additional, relevant documentats to support this submission.
3. To seek, liaise and instruct the Seconder to provide a reference letter to the AAEGT. The reference letter must be emailed through to info@aaegt.net.au by the due date and be no longer that 3 typed pages, size 12 font.

Professor John Munro has made a lifelong contribution to the Australian gifted education space across a broad career, and his professional and volunteer efforts have been tireless. Professor John Munro was presented with the award at the AAEGT 2020 One Day Virtual Conference and responded with a presentation entitled A personal perspective on giftedness.
